    Our tour starts with a pick up at your accommodation in Cape Town and surrounding areas at 9:00am (flexible) on this private tour to Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins colony. We begin with a brief drive-by city orientation tour to see important monuments and building in the city centre.

    Travelling along the Atlantic scenic seaboard we will pass through Llandudno, famous for some of the most expensive real estate in South Africa, until we get to Hout Bay. Arrive at Hout Bay harbour, you will have the option to either take a 45-minute boat cruise to Seal Island to view the seals or you can do some shopping at the market.

An optional sit-down lunch in their restaurant or a picnic lunch overlooking the man-made dam comes highly recommended.

    From the Cape of Good Hope we will drive to Cape Point. Arriving at Cape Point we will have a choice between a 15-minute hike or take the Flying Dutchman Funicular to the Cape Point Lighthouse. Here we will also explore the most south-western point of Africa, known as the Cape Point, where the cold Benguela from the Atlantic Ocean, meets the warm Agulhas current of the Indian Ocean.

  • Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, Simon's Town, South Africa
    Our next stop will be the Penguins colony in Boulders beach, where your guide will escort you to the viewing point to see some of the 2500 breeding pairs of African Penguins at close range. You may even find one or two of these enchanting creatures walking alongside you on the boardwalk.

    Our return route is past Muizenberg where you will see the colored beach huts. The beach huts are used as changing rooms. These are reminiscent of the “bathing machine” of the 1800s, which was a cart-like structure that was wheeled down to the water’s edge, allowing the ladies to change into their bathing costumes.

We had Armand as a driver and guide. There were 6 of us. We arrived on a cruise ship and were met at the dock on time. The van was clean, large, comfortable, climate control was adjustable by us, so always perfect. Armand was a perfect guide: right amount of information, safe driver, didn’t talk endlessly, did what we asked and made good suggestions for amount of time needed at a stop, a good restaurant to have lunch in, and an added scenic ride back to the port. We would request Armand as a driver/guide if we were to use this company again.

L expérience est inoubliable. Wilson nous a très bien expliqué l histoire de l afrique du Sud ainsi que l histoire de tout les endroits que nous avons visités ( camps bay, houtbay, boulders beach, cap de bonne esperance et cape point, sans compter les arrets photos !!)...il parle français et cela a été un énorme plus!! Il nous emmene dans les endroits stratégiques, s occupe de prendre nos billets, bref un super guide que nous recommandons vivement!! Merci encore Wilson pour sa gentillesse et sa parfaite connaissance de l histoire de l Afrique du Sud.
